The spa experience itself is lovely, a tiled Turkish Bath with a sauna, a huge infrared steam room and a eucalyptus steam room, ice cave, plunge pool and rainforest shower. The massages me and my partner had were one of the best we ever had, specific to our tight spots and perfect level of pressure. Would strongly recommend to anyone.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Chris ButlerGreat little spa in the centre of Sheffield. This Victorian bathhouse has recently reopened, and is a total stunner with it's ornate original tiles, high ceilings, and a seriously relaxing atmosphere. We spent the evening after a long week at work sweating it out in the steam rooms and saunas (followed by a BRISK plunge pool dip - worth it!), and left feeling totally rejuvenated. The complimentary chai lattes while we chilled in the lounge after a steam were perfect and we loved that the staff were conscientious and robes were handed to us in the perfect fit without us having to ask for a size. They also offer indulgent massages, facials, and even salt scrubs - so be sure to book one of those in advance for the ultimate pamper session! While there's no pool to float around in, it's the perfect escape after a long day at work or a wind-down on the weekend. There are female only or mixed sessions. Spa access is from around £35 before treatments. Who knew Sheffield had such a historical gem? We couldn't walk by the listed aptly named Bath Hotel Pub across the road without calling by, to complete our evening- highly recommend. The pub has been open since around the same time as the historic baths and they have always complimented each other perfectly. It's traditional with a nice atmosphere and it's the perfect way to end your evening, in our case with a pint and to share a pork pie 😂. A fab evening out with a pal.
